For those of you who have been visiting my website regularly, you will notice the upgrade I have done to my site, for instance the search bar I have added and also the new way of viewing the items so you can see the front and the back of them where applicable. I hope this is to your liking and helps you to navigate through my site more easily.
It is my aim to give you a good friendly service using only the very best of Kilt Makers for my Kilts (Please note that all my kilts are hand stitched), and Tailors for my Jackets. Also my Sporran & Regalia suppliers are second to none.
The photo on the front page of my website is from a painting painted by Kelvin Hunter
of me (Seoras) when I was a young piper in the Queen's Own Highlanders.
Kelvin painted it directly into my photo album in 1967 while we were both serving in Berlin
Kelvin is now the Curator of the Queen's Own Highlanders
(Seaforth & Cameron) Museum within the walls of Fort George a place well worth putting on your
places to visit agenda when you are in the North of Scotland.
Tell Kelvin that Tosh the Piper sent you.
Fort George itself is the home of the Seaforth Highlanders and many a young soldier has completed his Army Training within its walls. Sad to say I was too young before the Fort closed as a Training Depot and had to do my training at Bridge of Don Barracks in Aberdeen in 1964. It has now reopened as an army base
and has a new lease of life.
I would just like to thank Kelvin for all the work he has done for myself and many many others in the Queen's Own highlanders
